The Storage Platform Console allows you to lock and unlock StorageServers. Locking a server prevents any new Accounts from being added to it automatically. Unlocking a server allows the automatic addition of new Accounts.
How to lock a StorageServer
- In the Storage Platform Configuration tree, right-click the relevant StorageServer's name, point to Advanced and click Lock StorageServer.
- In the dialog box that appears, click Yes. The StorageServer will be locked.
How to unlock a StorageServer
- Right-click the relevant StorageServer's name, point to Advanced and click Unlock StorageServer.
- In the dialog box that appears, click Yes. Users will now be able to add new Accounts to this StorageServer.
