Symptom
If you change monitor setups (e.g. during a presentation at a conference or meeting), the Storage Platform Console GUI loads off-screen on a monitor you are no longer connected to. This is a problem when the Console opens with a dialog box prompt that cannot be escaped, because the usual Shift+right click or Shift+Windows key+arrow key methods don't work when a dialog box is open.
Solution
The easiest resolution is the following:
1. Go to C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Redstor Backup Pro\Console.
2. Locate the file named settings_19.3.xml. (Note that settings.xml appears to do nothing in versions later than 19.3 but may still be present.)
3. In the file, locate the parameters mainx and mainy. Set both of these to 0. This should place the main screen so that it is conveniently accessible in your primary monitor.
