Status: Maintenance

Description:  As part of our commitment to keeping our hosting environments secure and operating at the highest standard, we will be performing routine maintenance and upgrading firmware on our network equipment in our ZADD2 data centre in South Africa tomorrow.

Intermittent connectivity to a subset of service should be expected during the maintenance window. We always endeavour to keep the disruptions to a minimum.

Our secondary site will be unaffected during the change, and can be used to perform any urgent restores by following the steps in Article 1118: https://support.redstor.com/s/article/1118-How-to-restore-data-from-a-MirrorServer

Should you require assistance, please reach out to us, and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

Scope:  Connectivity to storage located in ZADD2

Change window: Tuesday 18 March 2025, 11:00 to 16:00

Expected impact: 1 hour of intermittent connectivity

Status:  Completed

Update history

  • 03/19/2025 05:25:00 (UTC):  Some of the network components failed to upgrade within the allocated time window and a decision was made to rollback to the previous configuration. A new maintenance window will be scheduled to complete the upgrades at this site.
