Introduction
CyberSentriq offers software bundles that combine products to allow partners to benefit from better pricing. Two bundles are available as of July 2025:
- Restore bundle (M365 protection + Entra ID protection)
- Comply bundle (M365 protection + Entra ID protection + cloud archiving)
Note: Monthly cost projections are not available for bundles.
Bundle descriptions
Restore bundle
- The Restore bundle offers the same features as Redstor's M365 and Entra ID backup products.
- Billing is based on the number of M365 seats selected for backup. The Entra ID backup selection is not taken into account, even if this differs from the M365 backup selection. However, if a customer abuses the fair use policy, e.g. by backing up thousands of Entra users and only one M365 seat, they will be billed for both products.
- Seat calculation works the same for the Restore bundle as it does for the M365 standalone product. As such, both active and inactive seats contribute to the seat count. Read more in Article 1437 - Seat management: key terms.
Comply bundle
- The Comply bundle offers the same features as Redstor's M365 and Entra ID backup and TitanHQ's cloud archiving.
- Billing is based on the number of M365 licensed users. This includes all eligible users across all of a customer's M365 tenants that we backup, regardless of the backup selection for either M365 or Entra ID backup. The list of supported licence SKUs can be found in Article 1421 - Supported Microsoft 365 licence types.
- Seats/accounts such as shared mailboxes, equipment mailboxes, room resources, Teams IVRs and other unlicensed users are free of charge.
Bundle eligibility
To make use of bundles, you must be on our new pricing plan.
- If you purchased both the M365 backup product and the Entra ID backup product AFTER 1 September 2025 and you have at least one seat backing up for each product, you will automatically be upgraded to the Restore bundle.
- If you had backup sets for both M365 and Entra ID backing up before 1 September 2025, you will not see the option in the RedApp to upgrade to a bundle, but you can be manually upgraded. Please speak to your account manager.
You will not be able to purchase or upgrade to a bundle if:
- you are not on the new pricing plan
- you are an education customer
- you have a custom billing agreement in place
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can a customer on the legacy pricing plan (Standard, Pro, Genius) take advantage of the bundle?
A: No. Only customers who are on the new pricing plan for both M365 and Entra ID backup can upgrade to the Restore or Comply bundle. If you are still on the legacy pricing plan, please reach out to your account manager.
Q: Can we use the licensed seat count of the Comply bundle for M365 (standalone) and/or Restore bundle customers?
A: No. The standalone M365 product and the Restore bundle rely on active/inactive user counts for billing. Please reach out to your account manager if you have any questions.
Q: Can customers who adopted M365 and Entra ID backup before 1 September 2025 take advantage of the Restore bundle?
A: Yes, customers who are not currently on the Restore bundle can be manually upgraded if they have both M365 and Entra ID backups running. Reach out to your account manager to upgrade.
Q: Are the bundles available to Education customers? Is there Education pricing available?
A: No, Education customers should use the Total Education bundle for M365 & Entra ID backup protection. Education customer companies will not see the option in the RedApp to upgrade to a bundle.
Q: Why can’t I see the upgrade option on a customer company’s M365 or Entra ID product?
A: Customers who had both M365 and Entra ID backup prior to 1 September will not have the option to upgrade via the RedApp; they will need to request a manual upgrade from their account manager. Before the manual upgrade can be done, the customer must have at least one M365 backup set with at least one account selected and already backed up. Each customer company will need to be upgraded individually.
Q: A customer company has an M365 backup set added. Why can’t I see the upgrade option?
A: To see the option to upgrade to a bundle, the customer must have at least one Exchange or OneDrive account in an M365 backup set selected and backed up. If a backup has not yet run because it is on a set schedule, a manual backup can be initiated. Note that it may take up to an hour after the backup has completed for the upgrade banner to become visible.
Q: What counts as a non-empty backup set for the bundle eligibility criteria?
A: For M365, there must be at least one backup set with at least one Exchange or OneDrive account (not a shared or inactive account) that is selected and has backed up. For Entra ID, there must be at least one billable user backed up, i.e. a user object that is not disabled, deleted or a guest user.
Q: Can I upgrade a customer company to a bundle directly from a trial?
A: No, customers who are on an M365 or Entra ID trial will not see the upgrade banner and will need to be upgraded from the trial first.
Q: What happens when a customer who doesn’t have Entra ID upgrades to a bundle?
A: Entra ID will automatically be added as part of the upgrade to that bundle.
