1260 - What does end-of-support mean?

Modified on Tue, 5 Aug at 1:08 PM

Note: All OS versions that are currently supported by Redstor are listed on our System Requirements and Compatibility Matrix. OS versions that do not appear on the matrix are not supported.

End-of-support for a software version means that we no longer provide updates for it, and we are no longer able to assist in troubleshooting it. This applies to Redstor's own software as well as to the operating system (OS) you are running.

We follow the manufacturer's guidelines in determining which OS versions we support. For example, when a Microsoft OS version reaches end-of-support at Microsoft, we also cease support for that version.

While it is still possible to install our software on unsupported OS versions (i.e. we mostly do not block these installations), we are unable to provide support for them. However, if an issue encountered on an unsupported OS is known and documented on our side, we may be able to advise you.
