Redstor's RedApp gives you the ability to backup and restore data from many cloud applications, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Salesforce, as well as Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Blob Storage. You can use the RedApp to backup and recover machines and servers, and investigate suspicious files that have been detected in your backups.

Our machine backup agent is a desktop application that can be installed on a machine, a VM or a server in order to manage its backups and initiate recoveries. Each agent is linked to a specific account on our Storage Platform. Our backup agent, also known as ESE (Enterprise Server Edition) can be installed on a wide variety of operating systems, all of which are listed here.

Your data is stored on Redstor’s Storage Platform, which consists of an AccountServer that is connected to StorageServers. The AccountServer manages authentication and reporting, while the StorageServers house your encrypted, backed-up data.

For certain advanced management tasks, such as customised reporting and applying profiled settings across many groups, you can use our desktop Storage Platform Console, the RedApp's predecessor.
